  Hello!  We are Rachel and Louise; two mothers from south Devon. We discovered, whilst pregnant, that there is very little choice of maternity clothes in our area. Finding anything that is original, comfortable and fashionable is very difficult. The High street maternity stores offer limited choice, and we often had to resort to spending hours on the internet searching for suitable clothes for our expanding waist lines.

Once our babies were born and we started nursing, we again realised that nowhere locally sold anything practical to enable us to discretely feed our babies. Through speaking to family and friends, we quickly became aware that we were not the only ones who wanted these types of products.

To meet with this demand, we have formed bumpadoodledoo: a high quality clothing range offering style, comfort and practicality with a personal and attentive approach. We will also be selling handy, practical solutions to problems we came across whilst being pregnant and also whilst breastfeeding.

  To launch the bumpadoodledoo range, we have teamed up with a number of local mother and baby related companies to provide the South West’s first ever Maternity and Tot fair. These fairs will be held quarterly and will be the perfect opportunity for expectant mums to find all the best products and services under one roof. Bumpadoodledoo will be donating all the proceeds of the entry fee to the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

In addition to the fairs we will be holding bumpadoodle browse and buy events, where expectant mums can get together to try on and buy clothes. These events will provide the perfect environment to share ideas and experiences with each other in an informal and relaxed setting.
